High Tech Carpets has been a specialist of high grade custom-dyed carpets since 1982, and has an exceptional reputation for quality, performance, and service! We have three new ranges of carpet including plush pile, twistpile, commercial style looppile, including custom dyed carpets. We are able to produce custom dyed carpet in small quantities from 20 broadloom metres, thus giving you complete flexibility with colour - quality - style - and budget. Plain, stripes, and stipple carpets are available.

In the past we have been led to believe that New Zealand wool is the best, however British wool is acknowledged throughout the carpet industry as being the best wool for performance and durability, especially for commercial grades of carpet. British wool has a number of key advantages: It is a fibre with bulk and resilience offering superior durability and performance. According to the British Wool Marketing Board, a British wool carpet will help reduce the effect of tracking and shading, and provide longer lasting appearance retention. British wool has an inbuilt resistance to soiling due to its natural oil and the scaled structure of the fibre which act as a shield against dirt. British wool is naturally flame resistant, and produces less toxic fumes than most other materials. It has higher ignition threshold levels compared to many other fibres, and its ability to self extinguish makes it a safer product in areas of public usage and the home.
